Quality standards

The Rimini Riviera can ensure the event organization quality certification for venues, facilities and services. Local players offer their services to meeting planners and Professional Congress Organizers in Italy with the guarantee of the 'Rimini per i congressi' quality standards.

The quality standards, which were devised as a result of analysis and more than a year of meetings and discussions with experts in the field, have been defined in detail for each category of services:
  • Congress venues (congress centres, hotels, historical sites and other venues)
  • Service companies (which offer technological services, organizations and preparation of fairs, catering and restaurant services, congressional assistance)
  • Hotels
  • Agencies for conference organization

Precise standards were defined within each of these categories. Each standard refers to a phase of the work: information to customers, assistance prior to, during and after the congress, as well as the technique and rules to be followed when drawing up contracts. All these factors provide a guarantee for each event planner in Rimini, Italy.

To carry out "Rimini per i congressi", the CBRR has created within its organization a work group which included the University of Bologna in Rimini, and and marketing consultans specialised in this field. The starting point of the operation was the examination of quality criteria previously adopted by national and international organizations.

Customer satisfaction
One of the fundamental operations which enable Convention Bureau to lay out the quality standards was the analysis of the level of customer satisfaction among the people who participated to the events in the Riviera di Romagna and among organizers. As of 2004 CBRR co-operates with the Province of Rimini and the Camera di Commercio for customer satisfaction control.
